One thing that I have learned
In this journey I am partaking
Is that happiness can be found
When all else is forsaken

Some think that their possessions
Are the way to measure wealth
Me, I see things differently
My wealth is my Self

For all those vast possessions
The house, the boat, the cars
They did not make me happy
My pleasure in them did not last

Now, I have nothing
Except my heart to give
And you know I have discovered
That is not such a bad way to live.
